EORU Junior Rep Program

We are looking forward to getting things started for EORU Junior 15s this 2020 season! Check out the EORU website

We are running four EORU teams:

U18 Girls (born 2002, 2003)
U18 Boys (born 2002, 2003)
U16 Girls (born 2004, 2005)

U16 Boys (born 2004, 2005)

Invite your school and club friends - our program has grown again and we look forward to welcoming new players.

If you haven’t yet registered, please do so and email Morgan Tapscott at tapscottmj@limestone.on.ca to indicate your  interest in training with us for the summer.

*Before you train with the EORU, you MUST be registered with an EORU club for insurance purposes.** Please let us know if you need assistance in locating a club near you.

Tropical 7s

We anticipate having the rosters for the Tropical 7s solidified by the end of the Family Day weekend. A reminder if you have already committed to being a part of one of the squads, or are looking for an opportunity to join the tour, you must be registered in and participating in the weekly training.

Thank you to all the players who inform me each week about their absences on the weekend! We appreciate it.

The Eastern Canadian Championships (15s) will be held in August in New Brunswick in 2020. We will be sending boys and girls U18 and U16 squads. More information on that will be going out in May.

Ontario Summer Games

Once again London will be the host city for the Ontario Summer Games. This year each of Ontario’s regional unions will be sending one boys and one girls team in each of the U15 and U17 categories. Stay tuned for more information on that, some time later in May.

Strength and Conditioning Program

You can still join EORU’s strength and conditioning partner Capital Strength program. A message from Bianca:

The coaches from Capital Strength Training Systems (http://capitalstrengthts.com) are very excited to work with EORU athletes over the course of the summer. During field sessions we will be focusing on a variety of speed and agility progressions. We also want to offer you options for training in the gym – which will consist of an in-house program for Ottawa based athletes, and a remote training app for non-Ottawa based athletes.
