This year we celebrate our 60th anniversary. Founded in 1963, the Ottawa Irish Rugby Club has been an integral part of the Ottawa rugby scene for six decades. Over the years, the club has produced countless great players and teams that have gone on to achieve great things both on and off the field. The club has also been a leader in promoting the sport of rugby in Ottawa, providing opportunities for young players to develop their skills and love for the game.
As the Ottawa Irish Rugby Club celebrates its 60th anniversary, we are poised for a bright future. With a strong commitment to player development and a passion for the sport, the club is sure to continue to produce great players and teams for many years to come. Presently, we have teams across all age groups and genders from Rookie Rugby to Junior Boys & Girls all the way through to our Senior Men and Women's Programs. Last year marked a large growth in the number of players and we look forward to seeing that number grow even larger.
As we approach the start of the 2023 season, we look forward to our 60th Anniversary weekend to celebrate our rich history and the club's current success.
