The purpose of this fund is to encourage the development of rugby in the community while providing opportunities to young athletes at the provincial and national levels. The recipient of the Alumni Fund will be decided by the Alumni in consultation with the OIRC executive.
In order to be eligible for these funds, the athlete must demonstrate financial need as well as be fully committed to the club. The recipient will be required to give back to the club by volunteering a set number of hours. These volunteer hours can be in the form of refereeing, coaching, administrative duties, event planning, or at the discretion of the club President and members of the executive.
